From the Adrian Healy postcard collection, a "National Series" postcard addressed to Miss Rita Lawton of Bridge Street, Bandon [county Cork]: "Hope he will visit you soon" [and signed] "A friend". "National Series was a trademark of Millar & Lang Limited, printers and publishers with premises in London and Glasgow.

c. 1912-21 (the card is stamped with a tangerine coloured one-penny George V stamp, stamps which were in circulation between 1912 and 1924; the card was probably posted before Irish independence in 1921; however, although the card is stamped it was not posted by way the postal system, therefore, if delivered, it must have been by hand)
